Coach Doug Petrick
Doug Petrick has been teaching Physics at Upper St. Clair High School, which is located in a suburb near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, since 2002. He coaches during all three sports seasons at USCHS. Since 2009, Doug has been Head Spring Track & Field Coach, and since 2006 Doug has been Head Indoor Track & Field Coach. Through the winter and spring track & field seasons, he trains the distance and middle-distance athletes. Since 2008, Coach Petrick and Coach Maureen Chermak both guide the fall USC Cross Country Teams together. Coach Petrick lives in Upper St. Clair Township with his wife and three children.
Coach Maureen Chermak
Maureen Chermak began running as a student at Seton LaSalle High School. She went on to run collegiately at Clarion University. Upon graduating, she coached Cross Country and Track and Field for 2 years at California University. Maureen Chermak has been a Learning Support teacher in Upper St. Clair since 2003 and began coaching USCHS Cross Country in 2005 as an assistant coach. From 2008 to the present, she has been co-coaching the team with Doug Petrick. She resides in Bethel Park with her husband and two children.
